How the end city finder works

End cities are where elytra and shulker shells come from. They generate on the outer End islands past the 1,000 block void gap around the main island. This finder switches to the End and lists candidate cities nearest to the origin.

Enter a seed in the box above the map and press Map it. The Find nearest panel on the left runs automatically for this structure and lists the closest results with distances from spawn. Click a result to center the map on it, then use Copy X Z or Copy /tp. Change the version selector to match your game; placement shifts between updates.

Tips

  • The map places cities without checking whether an island actually exists there, so some markers over void are empty. The ones on visible highland terrain are real.
  • Not every city has a ship. Ships hold the elytra; walk the exterior to look for one.
  • Reach the outer islands through the end gateway that appears after the dragon fight, or bridge across.

For what to expect inside, what spawns there and how to loot it safely, read the wiki’s end city guide. To see every structure type at once, open the full seed map.
