How the ocean monument finder works

Ocean monuments generate in deep ocean biomes and are the only source of sponges and the elder guardian’s mining fatigue. This finder lists the nearest monuments to spawn and shows all of them across the ocean as you pan.

Enter a seed in the box above the map and press Map it. The Find nearest panel on the left runs automatically for this structure and lists the closest results with distances from spawn. Click a result to center the map on it, then use Copy X Z or Copy /tp. Change the version selector to match your game; placement shifts between updates.

Tips

• Monuments need a deep ocean biome, which the map checks, so positions are exact.
• Bring water breathing and a conduit or doors; the three elder guardians apply mining fatigue on sight.
• Guardian farms want a monument near land with no other spawnable ocean nearby; use the biome view to judge that.
